So I am a day behind on blogging which I promised myself I would not do since I knew I wouldn't want to start catching up. but thats ok, there isn't too much to tell in the past couple days!
Manly Beach. Yesterday I went with the school to Manly Beach. It was kind of mass chaos. It was also the international students leading the international students. Which eventually just got entertaining. All the accents were just sort of mixing together into one giant ball of confusion. Rather than just get frustrated I decided to just sit back and chuckle. It was great. The beach was gorgeous. It ended up being sunny and perfect weather so I got a little burnt! Which was nice. haha. I think I prefer Bondi Beach over Manly beach but it is still beautiful water and beautiful sand. So I'll take it. :)
Today was just a wonderful day. We had orientation so I am now on information overload. Once my brain settles down a bit I am excited to get involved in a few things. One of things is a global leadership, where all you have to do is go to 10 lectures and they will give you a letter of recommendation and a cool certificate. I am pretty excited about this because the lectures sound pretty interesting and it will be cool to hear about Australia's perspective on what is going on in the world! I also think it would be pretty cool to get involved in Cricket. So hopefully that will be a thing.
Also! One thing I do not like about Australia. Everything closes at 5! I prefer to do my grocery shopping late at night, and to have my late night fast food runs. I suppose I will have to adjust my lifestyle. :)
